March Vineyards

All around in the vineyards, signs of spring.

Fresh markers to delineate types of grapes. I'm surprised to see the lizard symbol; although lizards are common in the vineyards, I had read that the lizard label was used for Burgenland reds.  I'll report back on the color of the lizard grapes later this spring.

Shades of blue in all directions.  Even the winter earth seemed brighter this morning.

And back down in the neighborhood, cheery forsythia spilling out from a fence line. Ten inches of snow are currently falling on the forsythia in our US yard today. I'll bet they're not as cheery.
